Oh my god, I just saw the shawshank redemption and like I said wow. This was one of the best King movies that I've seen. I use to love Children of the corn, then it was 1408, now its shawshank redemption. The funny thing is, the reason I started looking into the movie was, I was watching Family Guy the other night, and I had previously heard of the movie and how good it was but I had no clue intill I watched it earlier. I've read lots of his books but not too many of his short story collections. This might be the exception, I found that it was 1 of 4 novellas in the collection Different Seasons. I've loved and didn't put down any of King's stories intill I was done with them, I currently am reading The Wastelands ( the third dark tower book ) next I am going to read The Long Walk which is under the Richard Bachman name.
I'm actually a writer myself and I never stop becoming more and more amazed at his work, I hope one day I can be as good as King as, He is my hero and just about 100% of my inspiration in that field, Thank you Stephen King and keep it coming!![]()

There are many good SK movies out there. There are also plenty of SK stories that could be made into entertaining movies. That's what I like about SK, being so prolific and talented. If I were you, however, I'd continue with the Dark Tower Series to the end. I did it that way so I wouldn't forget the on-going story. Just a suggestion. Happy reading!
