One thing that always bothered me about the movie (I can't remember if it was in the book or not), was that Andy never gets revenge on the man that murdered his wife and her lover and got him thrown in jail for twenty years. He gets revenge on all the corrupt employees at the prison, but never mentions the murderer again (Elmo Blanch? Was that the guys name?). Maybe drop a line to the newspaper like he did with the warden? No? Okay, nevermind then, just head to Mexico.
