    Default Gerald's Game

Is anyone familiar with "Gerald's Game"? I have the book, and, myself, have never seen it mentioned in his works - definately not as a movie. The story took place across the lake from Dolores Claiborne's story on the 4th of July, the two are somehow interconnected. I believe it is an excellent example of King's imagination, however I haven't read or seen any type of reviews on the story.

It's a great book, especially if you're a girl. The connection with Dolores Claiborne is pretty thin, though - you don't have to read one to appreciate the other.
Having said that, GG is probably the least popular of Sai King's books among his fans. I've heard many people complain that it's boring and uneventful. Dunno, personally I enjoyed it immensely.
    Hope it helps

There are several threads about Gerald's Game in the board, so I'm not sure what you mean by "haven't read or seen any type of reviews". It is an excellent books and is tightly connected to Dolores Claiborn is the same manner that The Stand is connected with the DT series or Salem's Lot is connected with Wolves of the Calla.

A great book indeed. It kept me on the edge from start to finish.

After many years of swearing I would never touch that book again, I find myself rereading it. It was a good book, just a little too real for my tastes, ya know, being a woman and all. I'm giving it another shot, tho, to see if it creeps me out as bad as before.

I can't understand how people think it's boring. It is my favorite of all his works, not that I've read them all. It's actually my favorite book.

And it is still creeping me out. I got to the part about the dog and I have to admit, even whilest the dog was doing what the dog was doing I STILL felt sorry for it.....this book is so hard to read!
