Default Thank you Stephen King for the beautiful story.

    Hello ~
have just finished a translated version of Lisey's Story and have to say:

What kept playing in my head was CCR playing Born On The Bayou

Now, when I was just a little boy, Standin' to my Daddy's knee, My poppa said, ";Son, don't let the man get you Do what he done to me."; 'Cause he'll get you, 'Cause he'll get you now, no...

Having noted that, good grief, Stephen King just gets better and better!

Many thanks from a thrilled reader in Scandinavia.

I've read Lisey's Story 3 times and thinking of reading it again after I finish rereading Cell. Lisey's Story is becoming one of my favorite Uncle Stevie book. It is so tender.

I've finished to read this book today and met an older version of Amanda at the gym (the one I imagined). She was very energetic!
You've been so very precious to me Stephen
your books make me laugh and cry and that's the best
    Lots of love,
    Marina

I agree, one of his most real and one of my all time faves. This is the one that baffles me when other fans here say they don't like it.

I really did not expect much out of this book. It had a "chick flick" feel to it. But once I started in on it, I couldnt put it down. This one IMO had some of the scariest (or freakiest) stuff in Kings work, unlikely as that once seemed. Loved it!

I finished this book in Swedish and I absolutely loved it! It just got better and better! And I couldn't stop crying, don't know why really, but the feeling was just... Amazing! Can't wait till I read it in English!
