I know the perfect opening to it. My friend and I could write a treatment in 2 -4 weeks. Wonder what Spielberg's hold up was on the film. I couldn't find it in the imdb. database.

We would end up writing two films though.

I've been wondering myself about the status of this movie. I think it would be an excellent film. I wish they would make a good lincoln assassination movie, like JFK or something.
