Default Question about a specific Line...

    Hi guys,

I'm new to the this particular forum, but frequent other forums... I'm a huge fan of Stephen King, obviously, otherwise, I wouldn't be here. I loved the Dark Tower series and consider them one of the all time best written collections.

I have a question and it's really obscure.

In this book, Hearts in Atlantis, in the second book, I believe, there is a scene in which Bobby is working in the lunch cafeteria. (Please forgive me if I don't have the exact details right... It's been a long time since I've read the book...) Anyways, he is describing when he is washing dishes and on one of his buddies sends back a plate with a "person" made out of food, holding a flag I believe.
And he said that he laughed about that for years. Anyways, there is a line that I found VERY good about that. He says "Having something that you can laugh about years after the fact is a treasure" or something along those lines. Can anyone get that exact quote for me? I would greatly appreciate it.

It isn't Bobby who's in that part of the book...it's Pete Riley.

the quote is: "Anything with the power to make you laugh over thiry years
later isn't a waste of time. I think something like that is very close to immortality. "
