Bangor in October

Looks like I'm going to be in Bangor for a few days in late October. My first tought was to take the Tommyknockers Tour but it's sold out the weekend I'm there. Grrr.
I'm open to suggestions on fun things to do (King or non-King related) while I'm there.

Go see Betts Bookstore before it closes....and buy some stuff (maybe if everyone does this then it won't have to close).
