Read it. Time goes by and you can't remember a single thing from the book - not even the basic plot. Or even worse, it looks familiar but you can't remember if you ever read it.

Often.
Or, even worse, bought a second copy of it because you forgot you had one and had already read it.
And they say that reading staves off dementia.![]()
It hasn't happened too often with books, though it does on occassion. But it happens all the time with movies. I'll watch it, then an undisclosed amount of time goes by, I'll see a movie at the video rental store that looks promising, pop it in the DVD player. Five minutes go by, it seems a little familiar. Anthore ten, and I'm sure I've seen it before. By midpoint, there is no doubt.
Yeh I do this quite a lot.
I think it's possibly because I am a fast reader and tend to read a lot...it can't all stay in my teeny little head.
Luckily I am big on re~reading to pass time so it's all good.
All the time. Though I will say it never really happens with sai King's works.
think this was part of the message on the mount, blessed are the forgetful, for they will enjoy sk's stories time and time again.![]()
