    It will not a reappear. Some other monster will rise in time to threaten other heroes of another time and place, but the Losers have fought their battle.

    I have a problem with the whole forgetful ending to it. If the Losers had really forgotten about their battles with it. Who built the memorial in the Sandpipe Jonesy see's in Dreamcatcher? It is inscribed from the Losers club, so that would show they have their memories correct?

    "I think, therefore I forget"-Renee' Dey-whosit? Shutting down and compartmentalizing that which disturbs or terrifies you is a normal human trait. Politicians have conveniently forgetting things for years. But, putting something "behind the wall" is a common defense mechanism-if we don't remember it, it can't hurt us...
