OK people, lets bite the bullet on this one: Can you please tell which SK novel you found disappointing and why?
My twopence;
Cell - I found it a little aimless and as I have read on a previous review, it is essentially 'The Stand-lite'....

Same here - so far, Cell is my least favourite as well.
maybe I should re-read it, I kinda read it really, really fast the first time, so maybe I didn`t get a good grasp on it.
And now at least twelve hundred people here are going to say " The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon ".![]()
'Gerald's Game' wasn't great for me, and I enjoyed 'The Dark Half' only because I completely +5 suspended my disbelief towards the end (Sparrows? Did I miss a metaphor?) with my buddy Jack Daniels.

Dreamcatcher. There were too many parts that literally made me sick to my stomach. I have also never gotten far in Tommyknockers.
Either the Dark Half or Carrie.
Minority of one in all probability, but Dolores Claiborne for me.
Tried twice in the distant past, failed miserably, and haven't revisited, so it's a SK novel that I still haven't actually read.![]()
Gerald's Game is the only SK novel I couldn't finish. I felt like I was trapped in that room with her. Maybe I'll try it again some day but I'm not sure.
I would have to say The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon. It just didn't keep my interest and I talked to many that loved it.
The Colorado Kid, without a doubt. Well written book, just not into the pulp fiction style. Gerald's Game would be next. Have tried several times years ago to read it, but just haven't been able to finish that one. One day I will try again.
