Regarding the movie, which features a great leading performance from Christopher Walken in one of his earliest starring roles, you can buy it here...

Hope that helps. Purchase, and you won't regret.![]()
The tv series has some good reviews on amazon. I think I may invest! I loved the movie with Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen.
every time i read the dead zone, i picture Christopher walken in the book. although he was in the film, i haven't seen the tv movie. man you have Stephen king movies nearly all the time in the states , not fair
Both versions were unique in their own way. The original with Walken was good because it had a creepy feel to it, and Walken captures every moment. Sheen was very convincing in the movie. The movie was directed by David Cronenberg; his films are either hit or miss with me. I enjoyed the TV series because I thought it was good in its own right, not because I'm a Stephen King fan. Regardless of whether it was the "Dead Zone" or some other original idea, I still would have loved the TV series anyways.
I have never watched the show really, just a few episodes. But I thought the movie was very well done. I loved Christopher Walken in the role of Johnny. I think the movie was filmed in Quebec somewhere, at least some parts of it, but I'm not sure. Anybody can tell me if it's the case? Some canadian actors were playing some of the characters, like Dodd's, Johnny's mom and dad, and maybe a few others. I loved the openning score with the images shown.![]()
There was a T.V. movie? I know about the T.V. series, I watched it a few times and then turned it off (it wasn't very good.)
cannot wait to read the book, then watch the movie, then watch the TV series!
