For some reason every time I watch this film I have tears in my eyes from start to finish. The ones that won’t stop falling from the corner of your eyes. Like a water leak. I just wish my tears would bring back my friend. Much like Supermans Mom says his brothers tears will allow him to walk again.

Mike Singletary from the 49ers reminds me of Denzel Washington’s Herman Boone.

Can't believe it wasn't nominated for any Oscars.

It was a great film. First time I'd seen it our rugby coach played it on a bus trip (obivious to spur feelings of friendship and inspire us all ) and I got to admit I was moved. Never close to tears but it's still one of those films that's touched my heart. I got to agree with you, why wasn't it nominated for an Oscar?
