Default Hoping to dress up as Pennywise for Halloween. Need your opinion on a certain matter

Hey guys I'm hoping to go as Pennywise for Halloween (based off of the TV Movie). I can't choose between which wig to go with though. First here's a picture of Pennywise.

Now I will show you two wigs that I'm debating. One is sometimes advertised as a Pennywise wig and looks like this

My problem with that one is that the hair seems kind of short, and maybe a little too curly.

Another one that I'm debating is this one

But with this one the hair seems a little too straight. Also, the hair goes straight down. I might be able to frizz it up and make it stay out like Pennywise's, but I'm not sure.

    What do you guys think?

I like the second one. It's creepier.

I like the first one. And don't come to my house, please. You'll scare my daughter.

You've come to the right place.

The first one, because it looks frizzy, would probably be easy to straighten just a tiny bit. You could use a wide-toothed comb and a light hair spray. BUT, if it's actually CURLY, you might not want to use it because Pennywise has more of a kinky-frizz than a curl.

Also, when you do your eyebrows and mouth, get yourself some liquid eyeliner in the cosmetics section. It does crack a little after it dries, but it helps create pristine, sharp lines.

The second one could easily be trimmed up and layered, and you could definitely tease it and comb it and tease it some more to give it poof and depth. The second one though, looks like the hair line might be too far back. You might need to tuck the front rubber part under an inch or so. You don't want to look like bozo.

Feh. If you are going to dress up as the Pennywise guise, you might as well do the one from the book. Leave the movie be.

I had considered that. But the problem is that the description given in the book is a little too similar to Bozo the clown, which is why I'm looking to the film version for inspiration. Not exact, just inspiration. I can't replicate the suit he wears in the film (can't sew), so I'm just looking to the film for inspiration.

I vote for the first one - it's more clown like in my opinion. And that's a great idea for a costume. I'm really grateful we don't celebrate Halloween in my country, 'cause seeing a clown dressed like this after sunset would have me RUNNING, and never mind how old and sensible I am

Or get yourself some decent werewolf hands and mask and have a Derry High School Letterman jacket made (I've done this) and have "Derry High School Killing Team" put on it and the name "Pennywise" embroidered where it goes.
