Default My Best Ever King Purchase!!!

Thought i would start this new thread for people to talk about and show pictures of their favourite ever King purchases

Here is my most valued possesion lol just arrived this morning from Donald Grant:

Deluxe Signed Edition of Little Sisters of Eluria number 806:

The quality of this book is excellant! The Slipcase (although more of a box) is so well made - inside it is suede and when you take of the dustjacket it has matching binding with the KA symbol on it

Definately my best ever King purchase and so glad i took it out of the shrinkwrap

Would love to see other peoples favourite editions whether signed, numbered, limited so please share!

    Thanks

my favorite is nothing too special. i was in an antique shop in chester, nj and on the book shelf was about 5 stephen king hard covers. I flipped through the front and one of them was a first edition Eyes of the Dragon. $5. not perfect condition, but every collector's/antiques book store i've been in since has the same book in worse condition for at least $40.

i do like my artist edition of sisters (which will be read my next time around on the DT series) and DT7, but i paid full price for those.

My best King purchase ever was a VHS copy of "The Golden Years." It doesn't seem special but it was in that store that I met the owner, Stu, and he gave me a map to all the real places that inspired IT and Pet Sematary. Seeing the real "pet sematary" was amazing.

My favorite SK purchase is my hardcover 1st edition of Insomnia. I only paid $2.00 for it at a huge booksale recently. It's my favorite because Insomnia is my favorite novel by King. My paperback was so beat up and falling apart I needed either another paperback or try to find a hardcover. I was thrilled I found a hardcover and a first edition and didn't have to pay a lot of money.

I didn't buy my best ever Stephen King purchase. A neighbor gave it to me: a tatty old paperback copy of Different Seasons, which I still have (and love). Andy Dufresne helped get me through some really hard years.

My best Stephen King purchase was From a Buick 8 gift edition from Cemetery Dance Publishing. This book has always been my favorite and I cried when it became Out of Print. Then I found it on Alibris.com I bought it. I was so happy when it came in the mail!

I don't know if any of my books are valuable or 1st editions (this may sound stupid, but how could I tell? ). I love them, though. They're all hardcover and I own 17. I'll have 25 by next week.

Every purchase I make is officially my best purchase. Whenever I find anything new that I don't have yet I am just amazed that it is out there so that becomes my new favorite purchase. To believe I've been reading this guy for 20 years and he still has the ability to write new stuff that keeps me intrigued is mind boggling to say the very least.
