Default The Lost Symbol, anyone read it yet?

I was wondering if anyone has read the new Dan Brown book yet. I'm interested to see if it's any good.

my teachers don't like that dude, but i all the puzzles and stuff in da vinci code were fun. man, i'd love to have one of those cryptex thingies they showed in the movie. secret codes are rad. the lost symbol reminds me of national treasure. i'll have to check it out.

    Hi,

Yes, I'm very interested too (though not quite interested enough to buy the hardback).

I believe the subject this time is Freemasonry, a subject that as a Scot I find particularly fascinating.

I can't wait to read it, but alas, I always wait for the paperback!

I just finished Angels & Demons and am moving on to DaVinci Code next.

A&D was fantastic! I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it as much as I did, but I loved it and have a newfound interest in Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica, etc.

I'm glad to hear it's good so far. I loved all of Dan Brown's books, although not in the order that most people do.

    Digital Fortress
    Angels & Demons
    Deception Point
    Da Vinci Code

I am most likely going to buy the book this weekend since I received a refund check from school.

I wish Dan Brown could write books faster than only 1 every several years.

I can't wait to see if it's turbo far fetched, or if it portrays Masons in a realistic and flattering light.

    John.

Tesco's and Asda (UK ONLY) have offers for this book. £5 in Asda is the cheapest. Waterstones and WH Smiths also have offers if you spend a certain amount.

I picked it up today and will start it soon. I do enjoy the Dan Brown books, although the quality of his prose has been slated by the critics his stories do tend to hook you and keep you interested.
