Based on the commercials, I'm guessing they didn't get most of the contestants from the general public. But I think it's been a while since they did that. Oh well, I'll still watch.

    Anybody watch?

This Russell homunculus is truly repellent. I was upset when he wasn't exposed and eliminated immediately. I hope CBS didn't plan on keeping him around for ratings reasons, because I will not watch if he's on much longer. And for him to fake being a part of Katrina is unforgivable. Everyone who lost a friend or family member in an attic should make it their mission to see that this goon never sets foot in Louisiana again.

Okay, I feel (somewhat) better. Not really, though.

I wonder at what point he crosses lines. Burning another player's clothes, for example. I think someone's going to wise up to him soon.

Bev and Susan, my thoughts exactly! Dumping out the drinking water, burning socks and the Katrina lie! Somebody has to see through this guy eventually! The Police Officer has her radar up! She said, "Don't trust him... it's womens intuition."

I hope she is able to secretly undermine him some how!

Oh! No doubt! I was sitting there with my mouth open! Couldn't believe the Katrina story either, that was just going too far!

The Katrina story, well, that was just manipulative. However, destroying someone else's possessions, especially when there's no chance to get replacements, seems like something that should be against the rules.

I'm with you on this. Faking these tragic things is very painful and despicable. I think the shows execs have planted him to stir up crap. There is no way this guy is for real.

There was an article about him in the Houston paper the other day. Apparently he is very much for real. His brother was talking about his forceful, manipulative personality.

Yeah, Russell actually makes Johnny Fairplay look good! He's a little weasel...he definitely won't last. I liked Betsy and her take on the weasel too...she is definitely on my "winner hopeful" radar.

OK, I hate to comment on the hair thing (again), but does anybody else hear Olivia Newton-John's "Let's Get Physical" when they look at Shannon? LOL. And don't get me wrong, so far I really like her...
