Ever had one of those days?

Lately my time and energy has been stretched pretty far. Between school, helping my mom take care of my grandparents, driving to and from my veterans appointments, and the general everyday stuff my time is pretty full.

All that being said my concentration has been pretty craptacular at times.

Today for instance, I walked into class and sat down. I thought something wasn't quite right. I looked around and didn't really recognize any of the faces in the room. It took me almost 2 minutes to realize I was in the wrong classroom

I'm sure the fact that I suffer from sporadic nights of insomnia doesn't help anything.

All in all, it makes for a good laugh sometimes.

So, anybody else want to share their oops moments?

Today, I have managed to drop (and not know it) my handbag in a supermarket carpark, got to my next destination only to discover it was missing. So I back tracked and went back to the supermarket and found my bag had been handed in and was safe (money still in it too) in a little office.
I then went back to where I was supposed to be, to only to try to walk through a "door" that turned out not to be a door, but a glass panel that was actually next to the door. I didn't see the real door and couldn't work out why the other "door" wouldn't open. Someone told then told me that the door was just to my left.
I was having a definite blonde moment, that lasted the entire day. thankfully it is now the beginning of another day, one I hope won't be a repeat of yesterday's.

OMGoodness guys! I'm sorry you've had these incidents, but I did have to giggle a bit. Life is funny sometimes, huh? Well, I've had a ton of "oops" moments, but I guess the funniest one would have to be an "incident" that happened when I was a senior in high school. I was struggling to get dressed and to my next class after gym. As I bolted out of the locker room and ran through the gym, people started to clap. Not knowing what the coo was, I slowly looked down and realized I had no pants on!

Also, there was this one time I was on a cruise and leaving the disco. Instead of walking through the doorway, I walked smack-dab into the glass wall next to it. I left a face print and everything. After the initial shock, I don't think I have laughed so hysterically. And by the way, my face print (forehead, nose, lips and chip) was on that glass wall the entire cruise. Guess you could say I made my mark....

Try decades..my daily existance seems to be a Rube Goldberg experiment gone horribly wrong.
Now if you stay at least a couple arms lengths away, you should be safe (no sweat just in case, got plenty of first-aid), but I certainly hope you have a decent drycleaner...and possibly a flare gun.

I was going to say the same thing. Every one of my moments are not only blonde but also senior! I thought it might be because the hair dye I use finally ate through. Thank you everyone for making this old Tet-Mate feel a whole lot better!

How about 3 months! First I was vacuuming one day..stepped on the cord and it really hurt..found a lump on the bottom of my foot. It got worse and worse. Hurt pretty bad.
Went to the podiatrist, it is called plantar fibromatosis. Basically a ball of scar tissue. She taped it up. Said it should help. It did. One time she wrapped it and the tape pulled the skin off of the top of my foot. Darn! so I patched that up, retaped it. It happened again, only this time got a nasty infection. That hurt really bad too! On the up side, I got 6 weeks off from work and now everything is finally almost healed. Who would think a foot could be such a problem!

I think I have those oops day everyday. I forget to do things and afterwards I start to think what I forget now. Sometimes I start to laugh, when I have forget something I should have done

Well, yeah.. Lots.. Lately I keep forgetting the lock the doors of my car. This morning being the final coup, seeing that I even didn't roll up my window. It was just standing there, looking all pretty and stealable. Lucky it's parked on our driveway and not on the street, cause otherwise I would be cycling to work from now on.
