    It still feels like yesterday...
For some reason I never turned the TV on that morning. I got ready and didn't turn on the radio in my car either. I got to work and the "Big Boss" barged through the front door yelling, "America's under attack!" He was a bit over the top so I thought he was playing a joke on us all. He said that an airplane had flown into the Twin Towers and another plane hit the Pentagon. I remember being shocked and scared. He made everyone go home that day. I went over to a close friends house and just stared at the TV and cried for most of the day! It was a life changing day for me.
I will forever be proud to be an American!

I'm Canadian but that doesn't make any difference. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. I remember clearly walking my dog, early in the morning and a woman said, Did you hear?...
I came home and turned on the TV. It was unbelievable and horrific. I will never forget.

My prayers go out to all who died and those who lost a loved one that day.
And to all of us who were forever changed.

Miss Mod, I don't know if you do videos, but can we let this one stay til Monday, please

It might sound really corny but the day I got my Eagle, Globe, and Anchor they played this song. I'm not ashamed to say it made us cry. 9/11 is the day I stopped being a 21 year old kid and became a 21 year old man. Definitely put things in perspective.

I lost 2 good friends that day.
Today we went to Warminster Barracks to meet our nephew.
He is about to go back to "Stan" as he calls it.
We had lunch and toasted those we miss from 9/11.
    Gone
    Never ever forgotten

    We love you boys

I was living in Nebraska, but we were all New Yorkers that day.
