    In Remembrance-

    For all the victims,
    For all the heroes,
For all the lives changed forever.

I cried so much on that day, September 11, 2001, folks around me thought I knew someone personally in the towers or on one of those airplanes. But I didn't. All I knew was my heart was broken and life would forever be changed.

Just a couple of days away...... I will never get the images of that day out of my mind. Such senseless tragedy! I think that the day, September 11th, should become a national holiday, or for use of a better term, a national day of remembrance and it should be treated as any other holiday that is recognized by our government with all businesses closed. On that day, things forever changed in the world and in our hearts. Not only did almost 3,000 people perish but so did our innocence.

One of those days where we all remember "where we were" ... I was about to switch off the tele to go to bed when CNN broke news. I remember watching the smoke from the first plane and then watching the second plane live on air. Still gives me goosebumps thinking of all those poor people that didnt have a chance. The day the world changed in a way that it can never recover from

A very sad day and we need to remember to honor our heroes and those who lossed loved ones in the tragedy.

I was at my house - back then a caravan where I was living alone while I worked in the area. I opened the TV and the world was on fire. I thought it was a recap of a new movie and really thought nothing of it until I looked an hour later and it was the same image.
