I loved it. I thought it was funny in that toilet humour kind of way, but intelligently done. I also thought it was one of the best revenge stories I have ever read.

This story is King at his Kingiest. The more i think about it, the more it kinda shocks me that a king fan would hate it. Ah well, different strokes.

It's ironic, but I liked it because I hated it so. It certainly gave me a visceral response, and for that you have to give credit where credit is due.

I just read JAS in the summer. It was such a great collection of stories. With "Tight Place" I knew how he was going to have to escape and was horrified at the thought, but I had to finish the story. It really was such a gross story, and one that "sticks with you" for sure. I wonder if there was any debate between Mr. King and his editor about including this one. It has to be the grossest story I've ever read.
