Its funny because this past summer, a couple months before I read this book, I was actually forced to use a Port-O-Pody or however you spell that, and while I was in there I was thinking Man, if I got trapped in here, even if it was only for an hour, that would be terrible. But I was okay. This story was really good, but gut-renching at the same time.

I loved this story too! For me this one is the short and REALLY powerful story that exactly tells what the Floridaykey stories are about.

Surviving and getting out stronger. Going thru **** and getting out as clean as possible.

I really enjoyed it. Once you look past the bad gunky the underlying story is quite thought provoking.
The relationship between Curtis and Grunwald is strained due to many prejudices on BOTH sides. Neither character is easy to empathise with as they both have flaws. Obviously I wanted Curtis to escape his "prison" but not really because I cared for him, more out of curiosity, a bit like reasoning how you would fit a square peg through a round hole. By crikey, it can be done!

Sometime's in life we all have to wade through a bit of shite (sorry Ms Mod) to get through the other side...if you are like me you will always come up smelling of roses though !

This is my second favorite story in this book. I will never look at Port-a Potties the same way again!
