    I prefer hardcover, more substance to them i guess. I only have soft cover if i can't get a hold of the hard. Only buy my favorite authors in hardcover. Stephen King has his own shelfs.

    i like hardback since with paperback it gets kinda greasy and warpped from holding it open. sadly only two of my king books are hardback since the current paperback covers are much better to me. why can't they put the same cover in both formats?
