First of all, because I have a 20 mile commute to work so I'm in the car a lot. But also because I work in a bakery. Two days out of the week my shift starts at 1:30 in the morning and I'm by myself for several hours mixing the various breads. So that's ideal time to listen to books as well. Others have already given recommendations on other King works on audio-book. I would second the suggestion to listen to as much Frank Muller as you can get your hands on. In terms of King's work, It was possibly one of the best audio-books I have ever listened to. Steven Weber narrates the book and while he goes a little over the top at times, he throws everything he has into the performance and does an amazing job. On the subject of audio-books does Ms. Mod or anyone happen to know if The Stand is ever going to be released on audio-book format?
