Not sure if anyone's brought this up before.
Anyone else here read this book?
I loved it, very creatively done as a "look back" and "oral history" from various viewpoints of the zombie war.
If you haven't, check it out!

Awesome book. A must-read for anyone that loves zombies. The author is Max Brooks. Supposedly being made into a movie by Brad Pitt's newly created production company, but I haven't heard anything about that in a while.
I read this book about three months ago and loved it. I enjoyed the documentary feel to it. Max Brooks (son of Mel) surprised me. Count me as a fan now.
DId you guys also get his other volume, The Zombie Survival Guide? It doesn't read like fiction but it's still entertaining as hell... if you like zombies that is XD
This one is a great ride. I plowed through almost all of it in one night on the couch. Just the stories of ordinary lives suddenly turned horrific made for some compelling reading.
Yeah, I have that too. I feel very prepared for the zombie holocaust. I especially liked the little historical tidbits at the end.
I wish he would just write a straight-forward novel, though. Just focus on a group of survivors struggling through the zombie apocalypse. Anyone hear any news on his next project?
Love this book! they should make a movie
I didn't like this book very much, mainly because all the "narrators" sounded the same, no matter who they were or where they were from. It really distracted me from the decent story.
John
I have it, but it's still in rotation.
