Default When can you call your SK book collection complete?

I've just had a good look through the SK library and i figure these are the only books i'm missing and haven't read:

Stephen King - Nightmares in the Sky
    Stephen King - Mid-Life Confidential
Stephen King - The Storm of the Century
Stephen King - Secret Windows: Essays and Fiction on the Craft of Writing
Stephen King and Stewart O'nan - Faithful
Stephen King - The Colorado Kid
Stephen King - Stephen King Goes To The Movies
    Stephen King - Road Rage

There are other books but i've not included them because they have been included in short story or novella books i've already got. So i have 54 SK books on my book shelf and i've now read all of them. When i track down and read the books above can i consider my collection complete?

No. Thank God Mr King is still well on his journey of supplying us with new books and new stories. So' it's quite impossible to call your collection completed, where there are new books waiting for you to read them.

Don't forget The New Lieutenant's Rap. That was a chapbook put out in 1999 that expands part of a story included in Hearts in Atlantis. The chapbook is EXTREMELY difficult to find and, should you find one, you will pay dearly for it.

By the way, Road Rage is an audio version of King and his son's story "Throttle" and Richard Matheson's "Duel", the inspiration for "Throttle".

I only have 7 book in my SK collection so I think it take few years to complete it and we don't have translated every book by King. So I'll think I never going to complete it.

A SK collection can never really be complete. He writes daily.... we wait patiently..... he publishes..... we become constant readers again.

Thankfully I'm more of a new fan, so I have plenty to catch up on. I've only on my 5th King book at the moment, but I have 17 total (just got them all this year). My collection won't be complete until I own at least 1 hardcover copy of all his novels and shortstory collections.

I believe I can answer this question with one word - never.. As a hardcore collector I will never be happy with what I have, as there will always be a better copy, or a signed copy, or a Collectors Edition out there. My partner thinks that one day when Stephen King retires (perish the thought) I will stop. She has alot to learn.

I have all of the above except for the Essays, but know the collection is never complete-coz our beloved Inkslinger has yet to run out of ideas from his sojurns to "The Pool"(say Thankee')

I have 26 of his novels and one bio of him, Art of Darkness, in my personal library. I'll never be able to complete the collection I guess, but I must say I have borrowed the books I don't own, so I have read most of his work so far. I only wish I would have a signed book. Maybe one day...

Do you have "Six Stories"? That is his signed limited edition, and very hard to find. I found one on ebay and got it for under $1000, also "The Plant" was made into print, and "Secret Windows" - both I've heard are hard to find. Also, to go along with everyone else, SK is constantly writing new stuff, hence his name for us "Constant Reader". Until he is done, we will not be.
