You got farther than me. I never got past the first one. But I will be buying all 7 novels, and I will attempt it again. Good luck in your quest.

    Razorjack,
it was tough to wait between DT novels, but luckily, Mr. King gave us some great stuff to fill the time.

Manxkitti: Thanks for your support! I'm currently on THE WASTELANDS. And I'm scared that WIZARD AND GLASS is coming up (I've never been able to finish that one... but this time I shall persevere!).

When I finished that one, I started with W&G the very same day. I really feel bad for the oldtimers around here who read the books as they were released, and had to wait 6 years between book 3 and 4 !!

Mr. Palmer, it has been 4 months since the above post. Did you make it through W & G? For me, The Gunslinger was a much better book after finishing the series and re-reading it. When you make it through the whole series, go back to The Gunslinger once more and I think you'll appreciate it a lot more.

so? did you read it? I personally love the way S.K. describes and sets the characters, Roland is so misterious and such a complex character, love it!!!
