Default Favorite quotes from ficticious characters

What are the best quotes a fictitious character has ever made?

The rule is they can't be someone who ever existed. This can be a character from a television show, a movie, a book, a comic strip. Anything that's by someone who never existed.

I'll start. From Alice in Wonderland,

"Now, If I was looking for a white rabbit..." -- The Cheshire Cat

and from The Body by Stephen King,

"You always know the truth. Because whenever you cut yourself or someone else with it, there's always a bloody show."
    -- Jordy Lachance

    ...

Got any favorite quotes made up by made up people?

Just posted this yesterday in another thread:

"Horror has a face. And you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared"

This is a song in Lord of the Rings:

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
    Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

There are other worlds than these! (Though a non-fictional character said these words to me in real life before I ever read them!)

What we allow ourselves to hate, then has power over us.

Crazy people don't wonder if they're crazy or not. They have better things to do with their time.

With knowledge comes understanding. With understanding comes wisdom.

To boldly go where no man (woman) has gone before!

Not sure if I got those right in wording, but you get the gist, I think! There's so many sayings I love, they all went blank and I had to really search. I bet when I'm out on my errands today I'll think of more! Love the Lord of the Rings song, thanks!

    Harry Callahan:

I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking "did he fire six shots or only five?" Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

    Travis Bickle:

You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talking... you talking to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the f*** do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? OK.

From 'Hungry as the Sea' by Wilbur Smith.

It's when the very gay male cook, Angel, is undressing what they thought was a boy they rescued from a shipwreck and discovers a woman.

'Well, look at that. No fun gun. You'll have to leave us two girls alone now.'

Might be off by a word or two.

Hmm, so it looks like I am the only one that tells my daughter to get in the cockadoody car?!
