the use of angola new york in the talisman

not sure if anyone knows why, but was just wondering why of all towns in new york did they pick angola to put in the book? i live there and was just curious.

I think maybe did they pick Angola to put in the book because this city was on the West way as well as Ohio, Oatley among others, or the city had something special for autors, and also if Jack don't was in Angola, maybe he doesn't find Buddy Parkins.
