UK bookstores Waterstone's and Hatchards offered the signed limited UK edition of Under the Dome for a brief period. I was able to order a copy from both stores. Today my credit card was debited by Hatchards and I just got an email from Waterstone's that my book had shipped from them. There are currently a few out on eBay also.

Some pictures of the UK signed limited edition are on TheDarkTower.com:

They show that this edition IS numbered and that it seems to be a Waterstone's product (that's what it shows on the limitation page.) This may explain why it never appeared on the Hodder & Stoughton website.

The request to do it and the tip sheets came from Hodder & Stoughton. I'll get in touch with them to find out what's going on as they never got back to me about when they would be put on sale. I'd asked them quite a few weeks back about this.

Anyone know where I can buy one? I'm in Australia.

The Waterstone's page is still up:

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean they're not sold out.

I got the notice from Waterstone's that my copy had shipped via courier on Monday, November 30. I just received the package today--December 2! Amazing when you consider that it came from Great Britain!

Awesome. I got an order in for the Waterstones one. I just got it shipped surface. I can wait to get it - I am just wanting to have a book Autographed by Stephen King. I'm not sure I'll open it.

I've seen pics of the UK one - does anyone find it odd there is no dust cover and artwork?

I find that it is actually a true S/L this way, unlike the S&S one which is just a overpriced signed book.

Making it different then the trade editions makes it a better limited edition, IMO.

From the pics I've seen, I actually do believe it comes with a dust wrapper. It also sounds far superior to the U.S. edition, IMO. For one thing, it's numbered and then it's also cheaper than the Scribner's edition (and it's only 1/3 of the Scribner's print run, which makes it even more desirable). I wonder why––at this point--some people are bidding on it on eBay when you can still buy them for 100 GBP.
