Wo, Did a man on the radio/tv during the beginning of the movie say something about a new strand of the swine flu?? going to rewind and check.

I think in the mini-series its overheard on a radio broadcast. Its mentioned several times in the book too.

This isn't the first time the Swine Flu has come thru the World. It came thru in the 1970's. However, when this book came out, it was future dated to pretty close to when AIDS was made fully public. That scared the Heck out of me!!

I think it's much more exciting to entertain the fact that King is indeed psychic. =D

Though, I did slightly flip out when I was reading that part in the book, where it mentions the swine flu.
