Has anyone read Thinner? It is such a creepy little story. What SK excells in. A normal man put in a very extraordinary situation. And the extraordinary lengths he has to go to, to put it right. It also says a lot about racism on both sides of the fence. And how people on both sides of the fence don't necessarily do themselves any favours in changing others view of them. Agree, disagree?

great interaction there between the two of them. roadwork has some similar interaction between like-minded characters. must be hard to write a foreign dialogue. norwegian i think, i thought i read, all that beebopaloobop. was reading mccammon's volume 2 speaks the nightbird and there's this injun in there speaking french and his native tongue, se usa, no idea if it's "correct" or not. but yeah, i asked a "native american" the other week, hey dude, i was born in the usa, does that make me a native? he didn't answer. i guess i'll find a home eventually. hehehehehehe.

I don't remember anything racist about Thinner.....
