    Thumbs down Thinner

Has anyone read Thinner? It is such a creepy little story. What SK excells in. A normal man put in a very extraordinary situation. And the extraordinary lengths he has to go to, to put it right. It also says a lot about racism on both sides of the fence. And how people on both sides of the fence don't necessarily do themselves any favours in changing others view of them. Agree, disagree?

yeah, great story. i like how that wop went to bat for him. great interaction there between the two of them. roadwork has some similar interaction between like-minded characters. must be hard to write a foreign dialogue. norwegian i think, i thought i read, all that beebopaloobop. was reading mccammon's volume 2 speaks the nightbird and there's this injun in there speaking french and his native tongue, se usa, no idea if it's "correct" or not. but yeah, i asked a "native american" the other week, hey dude, i was born in the usa, does that make me a native? he didn't answer. i guess i'll find a home eventually. hehehehehehe.

Personally I didn't think that it was about racism. I thought it was a good old-fashion tale about a curse and the power it has over people. But hey, that's just me.

    Hi,

Yes, AWCS (And What Cowboy Said).

Great story, love the ending, and I even enjoyed the movie.

I still need to see the movie. Is it one of the better adaptations?

Some will say it is racist because of the use of the word 'gypsy'.
I thought it was about revenge and loyalty.

    And about pie....
