Hey guys, this one is definitely non-controversial

I haven't seen track and field athletics discussed much around these parts, but I've just been watching the 100m Final of the World Championships in Berlin, and Jamaica's Usain Bolt has just left me speechless again.

This 22 year old, who was a double individual Gold Medallist at last year's Olympics, and is already the World Record holder (and therefore the fastest human being of all time), has added another Gold Medal to his collection and absolutely shattered his own World Record in the process.

Moreover, his time of 9.58, which is a full 0.11 seconds faster than the previous record, is the biggest margin by which the record has been broken in over 40 years.

So, is Usain evidence that we continue to evolve as a species, and can continue to get faster and faster, or is he more unique, the proverbial "Bolt from the blue"?
