This sounds stupid, but I was really glad to see Mr. King mention Molly Hatchet in the book. Since their popularity waned in the early 80s, it was cool to see them get a nod.

The same thing goes for Black Oak Arkansas in NIGHT SHIFT. I thought it was nifty to Jim Dandy and his Ozark madmen get mentioned.
