    Exclamation Work Extraterrestrial

    Hi everybody,

There's a time I watched a documentary by Discovery Channel about construction of the pyramids of egypt.
Well, the idea was that long time ago Aliens had built these monuments, if we analyzed this make sense, for example, it's estimated that the pyramids were built in 20 year, and that time's scarce due to the quantity and size of blocks, also the man was unable for build Pyramides, for lack of appropriate technology and because the wheel had not been discovered.

Then the question are: What your opinion on these many immense buildings? man or Aliens ???

I think human beings designed and built the pyramids and other structures.

Did the knowledge of the light bulb come from aliens to Thomas Edison?

Did aliens tell Bill Gates and Steve Jobs how to create computers?

The film projects early humans a little more than grunting apes in caves. I think there could have been a collective awakening of consciousness to create the things that they were thinking of, things they were dreaming of.

    Long days and pleasant nights.

I think the idea of aliens building the pyramids is truly interesting, but it is now so overplayed it has become a Hollywood cliche (Stargate, Alien vs Predator, Tranformers 2).

So while it's interesting, I also believe it's pure fantasy. The egyptians built the pyramids with the aid slave labor.

i think people are fascinating and amazing creatures and people tend to forget that, thereby attributing man's own achievements to extraterrestrial life.

i actually happen to believe fully in aliens, because i think it's stupid to think out of the infinite universe we're the ONLY intelligent life out there. to quote that film 'contact' - if there isn't life out there, it's an awfully big waste of space.

but having said that, i think people made the pyramids, and i also think it's always possible they were more technologically advanced than we give them credit for. we're only basing our knowledge of them off what we've managed to dig up over the years and read here and there from old texts we also managed to dig up over the years. there's always something new to find, and plenty of things have been lost due to erosion, etc. so we'll never know the full picture.

    Hi,

Yeah, I agree with the above (although I'm not sure of 'slave' labour).

Can I recommend a hilarious book on the subject (more or less) by Terry Pratchett called 'Pyramids'?

I agree about the aliens, there's an awful lot of universe out there for us to be the only life that exists, if you ask me! At the same time I do think that people made the pyramids. They've dug up so many things as time goes by. There were actually many, many slaves who worked on them, but also skilled workers. They've found drawings that were the artists practicing their skills for when the pyramids were finished and needed their decorations. They've even found sort of rudimentary "time cards" that listed hours worked by the paid workers. I guess no one ever thought that there were laborers involved that weren't slaves, but there were many of them. I may not watch an awful lot of TV but if there's something on Egypt on, I just might be glued to the set watching. I find it very fascinating, and they keep finding new things that shed new light on the whole pyramid subject. But I once saw a show where they proposed how the Egyptians got the huge stone blocks to the pyramids to build them. They used logs and rolled the blocks over them. They did it quite easily, with a crew pulling ropes, and another crew moving the logs from the rear to the front of the block. I do believe they showed how they lifted them to the top of the pyramid, but if they did, I forgot how they did it, or didn't get to watch the rest of the show. But the way they showed it, it didn't seem like it was all that hard to do, unless you think of the distances they had to move the stones to get them to the pyramids. Must have stunk to be a slave. The paid laborers seemed to have pretty good lives and status in their communities.

But then again, we'll never know if there were aliens encouraging them to make these pyramids and helping them by teaching their architects how to make the pyramids stand for thousands of years. Who knows, maybe the aliens really did need a stadium to whoop some Predator Vs. Alien butt!

I've seen some pretty interesting "cave drawings" that well, sure as heck look like UFO's to me, and makes you wonder...what the heck did those cavemen see that would make them draw something that looks like that??

What do you think of the Nazca lines in Peru. From the air, they look like giant pictures, but on the ground the lines were formed by removing dark stones which cover a large area. So the light spaces where the dark stones were removed form the lines.

I'm tellin' ya: Advanced human civilisation pre-dating our earliest known history that survived a cataclysm but became widely dispersed. Knowledge lost down the generations and the population spread and mated with other, more tribal humans. The remnants of this knowledge, which remained for thousands of years in more and more tattered, fragmentary forms, with new customs and assumptions laid around it, spawned the Aztecs, the Maya, the Incas, the Chinese, the Sumerians and ancient Egyptians, etc.
It'd certainly explain how the Chinese, Maya and Egyptians came up with a pyramid design apparently independently of each other. It might also explain the Atlantis myth, as well as the strikingly-similar ones from other cultures (not to mention the similarities in the Creation myths).

    Hi,

I saw a documentary about them (good ole History Channel), and they apparently found a drawing of what appears to be a hot air ballooon, and they made one according to the drawing and the technology they possessed.

It could stay in the air for two hours and reach a height of 2000 feet apparently.
