I watched this movie again a few weeks ago, there wasn't much else on TV so I figured "why not?"

It's been a long time since I read the book, so this time around I judged the movie more on it's own merits and surprisingly I did enjoy it.
Not the best adaptation but I've definitely seen a lot worse. Guess what I'm trying to say is: I retract my original statement about how awful it was.

I would rather skip the movie than the book. Especially SK books versus the movie. Hollywood almost always fails to get the atmosphere right.

The movie's actually really good for the first half...then it tries to do way too much in way too short a timespan in the last forty minutes.

i liked the movie alot. the actor playing mr. grey did an amazing job, and just the way they shot it . . . . i liked the book alot too , but i tried reading it to calm down when having an intense "time" and i thought i was making my thoughts go down on paper,,, and just as i was convincing myself that couldnt be the case , i got to the "jesus christ bananas" line and i freaked out.... funny now not then

Have the book but havn't gotten to it in my next-to-read list just yet. Have the movie, very funny. Great cast. i wouldn't change anybody. Did i mention it was funny? scary-NO, but very entertaining. A little hokey, but that's most of King based movies. that's what makes it fun to watch. i'm sure it will be an interesting read, considering the previous reads compared to it's movies from King.

I really liked the book, and my nerves were definitely firing when the s**t weasel was in the toilet .

The movie was a big disappointment. Even my crush on Jason Lee couldn't save it.

It was an okay movie, but when you compare it to the book it was a friggin' s*%t weasel.
Especially the ending. It was just goofy.

I loved this book,it reminded me of IT so much, especially when the're kids and they save "Duddits" from the bullies

I also love the concept of one of the character's (can't remember his name at the moment) memory being like a library, and locking his important memories in a store cupboard
