The movie was ok, I liked it, didn't find it scary....but I was really thrilled with the book. had to read it, then got the unabriged audio, listened to it twice!

I got Dreamcatcher as a gift and I am ashamed to say that I did not even know it was out. Anyway I read it with relish. Had just moved in to a house and one night started hearing noise from the attic. Boy did it ever start screeching and I just knew it was going to break through the bedroom and "get me" LOL Just gotta Love KING

    Hi guys .
    Loved the book...HATED the movie.
Possibly the biggest disappointment I have ever felt in an adaptation.
I had extremely high expectations for the movie, and sadly they all fell flat.
The only redeeming feature the movie had was the presence of Morgan Freeman IMO, and even he couldn't save it.

I really liked the book and have bought the film, just need to find time to watch it. I heard quite mixed reviews of the film so will be interesting to see how the book translates to film. Some do better than others IMO.

I enjoyed the book - not my favorite of Mr. King's books, but it was a fine reading. But the movie... I didn't like it AT ALL. But hey, such is often the case with book adaptations, right?
