Default "The Night Monster" by James Swain

For whatever reason, I got an "advance uncorrected proof" of the book referenced above. It is supposed to ship in late September.

I don't read the Crime/Suspense genre much, but I had a hard time putting this one down. There was a printed request that no reviews be made before the book is finalized, so I shan't review it. I got the copy on Friday afternoon and finished at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

If you like the Crime/Suspense (with the ever-present ex-cop-with-a-cool-dog involved) genre, this is a page-turner. I just hope that's a working title....

The title alone is extremely intriguing, IMO. I don't read much Crime/Suspense either, but that one sounds like a real winner! Thanks, BJS.

The title is...well, maybe it grew on him. I have a "working title" Fatbook in progress, and the working title has helped me out a bit. I might keep it.

'The Night Monster' as a title doesn't help much...doesn't FIT much...but it's a fun read.
