It sure was a beauty of a car wasn't it?
The way SK described everything, down to the smell of the car, was amazing!
My girlfriend thinks I should name my Jetta Christine because she says the car hates her. LoL![]()

Loved Christine. My granddad bought a 1957 plymouth furry brand new. At the tender age of 10(in 1968)I got to drive it. It looked just like Christine, fins and all. This book brought back fond memories of driving with pappaw.![]()
Still to this day my 2nd favorite right behind Salem's Lot
Hey! My 'Christine' story is like that, too. But I've watched 'IT' when my Mom rented it, and I LOVE IT! So I was barely familiar with his works. Anyways, I begged my Mom to take me to a library book sale, and she did. I found 3 R. L. Stine things, 1 other book, and spent about half an hour looking for King books. After then, I asked a vouontieer if they knew where his books were, and she said that there were 2 boxes. So I gotNight Shift, IT, CHRISTINE, Misery, Pet Semetery, Cell, Gerald's Game, & Bachman Books.Im in the middle of reading Christine, and it rox!![]()
very wise Grandma,I love the book myself.
Christine was, I think, the second of his books that I'd read. I fell in love with it, it actually scared me!
