    Default Book covers

Well I have mentioned a few times around here that I want to read SK's entire bibliography and own each book, so logic would dictate that I'm also quite partial to the covers. I had originally started taking snaps of the covers with my camera, but since it's half broke, I resorted to scanning. The reason being that I have a lot of favourite covers but the net only really provides you with a poor quality 100x100 pixel sample of it. This does me no justice. I wanted to try and provide some better quality and larger covers for people to view (these are smaller cropped images and admittedly they do lose quality with larger size) and really just so I can admire the images in full scale. SK really had some great illustrators for his collection, and to me they provide a smaller mirror parody of the story. It fascinates me, so here are some that I have so far: (more will be included as my collection grows)

    Nightmares & Dreamscapes

    Geralds Game

    Wolves of the Calla

    IT

    The Dark Half

Thanks for sharing those, Anton. We've included different versions on the Library portion of the main site and are adding to them but have only scratched the surface with all the variations.

This site has not been updated for quite a while, but it shows, in thumbnail form only, a vast selection of King covers from around the world:

I like the way the Tower gets progressively larger as the editions go forward.

    Hi,

Know exactly what you mean but it seemed unjustifiably profligate to me.

So I'm buying them for my son and his wife LOL

Yep, I have used that site to pick out the books that I want. But that is what I was directing it at since even though it has a vast selection, they just don't show you enough. I was trying to give a bit more. After I read the Dark Tower series I will can the colour illustrations from the hardbacks, since they are just fantastic.

Haha! Very good idea! All my old books went to the PDSA and raked them in about fifty quid!
