Public Enemies

Have any of you seen Public Enemies, with Johnny Depp as John Dillinger and Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis? I watched it the other Friday and thought it was pretty good. The two leads were pretty good, especially Depp, and the movie also had plenty of violence, which I like in a gangster movie.

I saw it and thought it was very well done. Depp did a great job as Dillinger.

I am a huge Depp fan, but was pretty much bored through the movie. His acting didn't seem to bring anything special to the role, IMO. I think he took the role so he could wear the fedora and thin mustache! In the last scenes, he just looked like Johnny Depp on the red carpet, seemingly out of place with the other actors. I don't know...maybe I was expecting too much?

It was good but there were moments were it was too slow. I got to admit it was a gd role for Depp and Bale was great but some parts could have been done better. I thought Bale shined but Depp was sort of out of place in some scenes like towards the end.

The only complaint i have with the movie is that it looked a little 2 good being shot on digital instead of regular film( its a very small complaint).

Didn`t see it yet, but I believe nothing can go wrong where Depp and Bale are doing the job together.
