I'm curious if anyone has ever compiled one of these? I'm in the process of finding all the HC first editions and am a little interested in some of the values.

I doubt that such a book would ever prove to be very useful because the prices of King's books are fairly volatile. Back in 2000, George Beahm published Stephen King Collectibles: An Illustrated Price Guide. This book was very helpful, although it contained a number of errors and omissions. An updated version was supposed to be in the works for a number of years, but nothing yet.
Your best bet would be to check out the various sources, such as eBay and ABE, and do some comparisons. Just remember, though, that although a seller might be asking for a certain price, that doesn't mean he wouldn't accept a lower offer.

There are two series of books that track the values of first editions and collector's books, I think their titles are "American Book Prices Current" and "Antiquarian Book Prices". (That's not exactly right, but it'llget you close.) In the library, they're always filed in reference, call number somewhere in the 0-100 range. Updated annual, so they're too big shelves of books, should be easy to spot them. You can get a small amount of SK information from one of those, the tall brown one. (Not the squat red one.)
Hope this helps.
We all float down here.
searching through amazon today I found this
http://www.amazon.com/Salems-Stephen...17637&sr=1-152
17,000.00 one of a kind. Is this thing legit.
its also appears that creepshow (1982 paperback) fetches a pretty hefty amount as well. a couple hundred bucks.
heres another one for a hefty penny

In my opinion, both those are horribly overpriced. I picked up my copy of the UK signed/numbered Desperation/Regulators for less than $300 in 2005. Granted, there are only 250 copies (mine is #230), but...
The leather-bound Salem's Lot from Centipede IS rare, but I think $16,500 is way too much.
