    Default Places in the book

Stephen King in the book when "the plane hit the building of the canals of beacon and charles street and hits a building, maybe a bank" I was reading that book in that exact building...when I read that paragraph..I jumped up....anyone ever have that experience?...going "omg I know where that is!"

never been to that part of new england. got drunk and passed out in an iowa corn field once, but that doesn't count. neat-o, p-fire, that'd be something else to have that happen.

I don't live in the States, so not really, but every time I visit New York I find myself looking around for a certain rose, or a statue of a turtle.

    You can never know.

I've felt a kinship with more than one place described in the books.

However, IMHO, no experience is like another's understanding of a similar experience.

I know the sound of the intercoastal washing up, over, and against shells at night while sleeping in a home built on the shoreline.

Though, the geography is different and the sound doesn't give me the same feel as Edgar experienced in Duma Key.
