wheres the Movie?

I heard a rumor that SK has written the screenplay for Cell. If that's true, that's awesome. As I've posted before, I'm glad eli roth isn't going to do it because he's not that great a filmmaker (he's a lousy actor too).

Except his plan for the movie would have ruined it. I'm glad he dropped out of it. I'm not sure what book he read, but he thought the Phone Crazies were zombies. They are not zombies!


I do still hope it becomes a movie, and if and when it happens, I hope they make it right.

Yeah, I like Cabin Fever, but as soon as I heard Roth talking about his plans for the movie it kind of ruined it for me (eg, showing the apocalypse on a world wide scale rather than just one man's perspective). That was kind of a lot of the the unique charm of it to me honestly - how the whole story was just one man's journey.

He has officially left the project though. Maybe as the Weinsteins had the same thougts as I did about the opener...
