Default Stephen's appearance in the movie

I'm not very sure if it was "Trucks" or some other film, but I cached it long ago on TV by chance and I remember that Stephen King pops for a moment in the role of passer-by. I know he loves these obscured appearances in his own movies, isn't it great!

He wasn't in Trucks but he was in Maximum Overdrive (as well as directing it) which is also based on the short story "Trucks".

I still remember SK in Maximum Overdrive staring down at the ATM, "Honey this machine just called me an ***hole." It was great

I've never had the guts to watch TRUCKS. I'm a big fan of MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE, though.

I live in the UK and would like to know if I can get Trucks on DVD over here? I have read the story and would very much like to get the movie.

Uncle Stevie has followed in the giant footsteps of hizzoner Hitchock, with the "cameo" appearances-I loved him in the preachers weeds in Pet Sematary-always makes me giggle...course I did the same thing every time Fred Gwynne was on the screen. I kept waiting for him to holler out "Lily, could you come here a moment please?"
