Default Scariest scenes in a Stephen King book?

There are so many to name but if you had to narrow it down to a few what would you say freak you out the most.

    I'll do five(in no order)

    1. The Lawn Jockey- "Duma Key"
    2. The Leper- "IT"
    3. The Death of Patrick Hockstetter- "IT"
    4. The Man in the Bear Suit- "The Shining"
    5. The Lincoln Tunnel- "The Stand"

Don't know about the "scariest", but the hardest to watch is definitely when Kathy Bates performs her little "procedure" on James Caan's ankles in "Misery"!

    1. The wendigo scene in Pet Sematary when Louis is walking through the woods.
    2. Pennywise killing Georgie (although pretty much any scene in It involving Pennywise in some form)
    3. The ending of the Mangler when the two hear the laundry press coming down the street for them
    4. The end of the Jaunt. "It's longer than you think, dad!"

One of the scariest scenes for me was in reading Misery. I was ill, lying on my bed, and having seen the movie hundreds of times, decided to pull this one from the stack and begin reading. Page after page I turned, and could not put it down. Expecting it to end the same way as the movie, when Paul Sheldon asked if she was out inthe barn and the cops telling him, she isn't there. . . . . . . . . . . that freaked me out!!

    not in order

1.) "The Man in the Black Suit"
    - The encounter with the man in the black suit

    2.)"Bag of Bones"
    - the whole book scared the mess out of me but specifically the bell on the moose ringing and the encounter with Sara at the end.

    3.) "The Stand"
    - the Lincoln tunnel

    4.) "Riding the Bullet"
    - the whole George Staub bit

    5.) "The Shinning"
    - good ol' room 217

I have not read "It" yet. Plan on reading it b4 "Under the Dome" comes out. Cant wait!!
