Default Don't know if he reads but, thanks, Stephen King !

My first favorite author is Mark Twain, however, new works will not be forthcoming and I am not always in the mood for a sideways chortle. My second favorite author is Stephen King; he is the only man ever to elicit a scream from me . . . while I was reading a book. Thank you, Stephen, for helping support my habit over the years, satisfying my guilty pleasure, providing that fix, the constant stream of books I was unable to place on the night stand at 4:00 a.m. when work began at 7:00. Thanks for underdog characters who came out on top, perhaps by black and twisted means but, as we all know, the end justifies. I am no longer afraid of dark rooms, as I now know that the human cranium hides more darkness than a world without light. My wish for you, Stephen, is for scores of healthy years to come, and ideas for scores of future novels to assuage the monkey on my back. Here's hoping you never run out of Monster-Chow, and that you will always find that window and feed the beast.

Thanks for scaring the **** out of me.

    Read all o' him's books.

You can then walk all nooded on any dirt road in the Deep South at 4 a.m in July. Even the skeeters'll leave ya'lone.

Buy the books if you can, but support your local library either way.

Couldn't have said it better. He's the R.L. Stine of my youth. Good to still have something to read while life goes on. Thanks SK!
