    I absolutely love the movie (as you can see from my username), and I thought the story had just the right suspense. In both I found Alan to be an incredibly likable character, and I like how the movie delves more into him and why such a decision would be so hard to him. The bits of background story and the "false" things that happened kept me hooked.

    I haven't read the story (just watched the film today), someone did kindly send me the ebook but my fantastic computer crashed and lost the lot, is it available at the likes of amazon because I would love to read it (always prefer book to film).

    I thought the movie was crummy, given that it had some good actors in it. Joshua Jackson and Barbara Hershey are not stoopid talents. I wasn't scare by it, and I also wasn't intrigued.....bad direction, maybe? I don't know.
