Hmmmm...to each their own, of course, but that is one strange list there, Girl, IMO, no offence.

To me, every book written Steve is the best book out there ( like you just proved to me with your first list ), the only thing is if I personally like some more than others.

    Cheers.

Going to have to agree with Srbo. Worst and Stephen King doesn't fit for me. I do like some more than others, but never could catorgize one as worst.

I'm with Srbo and Spideyman on this one. I think it depends on your likes, dislikes, your interests and what doesn't interest you, i.e., for me Tom Gordon is a don't interest. AND I think it depends on what frame of mind you were in when you read the book!!! I have one book of Mr. King's that I could not get into, even though I had been told by the bookseller that 'she thought it was the best he had ever written'; BUT it still maintains a central place on my bookshelf for another time when my heart is open to it.

    Ooooo. Good question.

    Best:
    1. Gunslinger
    2. Insomnia
    3. Rose Madder
    4. The Regulators
    5. The Long Walk

(These - other than the first 3 - change daily depending on my mood.)

    Worst:
    1. From a Buick 8
    2. Roadwork
    3. Dreamcatcher
    4. Blaze
    5. Black House
(This doesn't mean I don't love them, it just means they're my least favorite.)
