What Character would you be if the stand happened

As much as I love the book, I wouldn't be any of them. Seriously, nothing could compel me to align with anyone. I'd be the guy sitting back at home alone, happy with my DVDs and books, just making sure I could scrounge enough food, and keep a generator going when I needed it (or rigging solar panels)

I feel the same way. But according to some we wouldn't get a choice. If we choose not to align and Flagg was the winner he would have his people hunt down those who choose to be neutral. I guess the Boulder folks would leave the neutrals alone - I guess. But I've been told that we would be compelled to make a choice. Sure Free Will and all that jazz sort of plays into it, but with a twist. We would be free to make a choice, but a choice we would make to go with either Side A or Side B. No Side C. Yikes.

I agree with you. I'd just ignore the dreams and enjoy life. However, if Flagg can "find" fellas like Lloyd just sitting around in a cell at a seemingly random jail, then I am sure he can find some random dude in the middle of an Oklahoma trailer park (or one in Montana) quietly running a generator to watch his old pro wrestling tapes on a vcr!
