New and in need of a memory refresher

I was sitting around BSing with some coworkers today and started talking about part of a plot from a SK book. I have read a great many of his titles and I drew a complete blank on the title of the story I was referencing. I was hoping one of the old heads on the message board could help me out.

I was talking about a character that goes to work everyday appearing to be a business man. Once in his office he changes clothes and takes to the streets as a blind veteran that begs for change. He is so good at it that he actually makes himself blind while doing so.

I cannot for the life of me remember what story this is from. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
